Increase in Ukraine’s state debt
In August 2026, Ukraine’s state and guaranteed debt rose to UAH 9.6 trillion, an increase of UAH 30.44 billion from the previous month. Overall, the debt has increased by UAH 560.21 billion since the beginning of the year. However, other reports indicate that the debt growth in August was nearly UAH 100 billion.
