Ukraine’s defence budget deficit in 2026

Prime Minister Koretsky announced a $27 billion deficit for Ukraine’s defence in 2026, with $7 billion to be covered through savings and $20 billion requested from international partners. As a result, the Verkhovna Rada may convene for an extraordinary session on October 12 to make necessary decisions.
