Death of MiG-29 pilot Marat Mambetov
Captain Marat Mambetov died while performing a combat mission on a MiG-29 fighter jet when his aircraft was hit by an enemy missile. The pilot ejected but did not survive. On October 4, a farewell ceremony was held for the fallen pilot of the 'Ghost of Kyiv' brigade.
