Agricultural exports in Ukraine: rising costs and increasing volumes
In Ukraine, alternative agricultural export routes have increased in cost by 30-220% due to record low water levels and queues on the Danube. This is linked to the blockade of the ports of Greater Odesa, creating serious logistical constraints for the agricultural sector. Despite this, in September, Ukraine increased agricultural product exports by 41.5%, exceeding 3 million tonnes.
