Svitlana Merkoulova named best teacher in Ukraine 2026
Svitlana Merkoulova, an English teacher from Irpin, received the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2026. She was recognised in the 'Preschool Education' category and became the first teacher awarded in the new 'Teacher of Integrity' category. The award ceremony took place at the National Opera of Ukraine in honour of World Teachers' Day.
