Violation of pensioners' rights in non-controlled territories

The European Court of Human Rights ruled that the suspension of pensions for sick pensioners in non-controlled territories violated their rights. Two women who did not live to receive payments were awarded compensation for their heirs amounting to €10,000. The court also issued two rulings against Ukraine regarding pensions for internally displaced persons and residents of occupied territories.
