Inspectors removed 10 illegal crayfish traps from a reservoir near Kryvyi Rih, containing 110 crayfish and 12 carp. All aquatic resources were alive and released back into the water, preventing losses estimated at over 366,000 hryvnias.
In Kryvyi Rih, the replacement of 3.1 km of main water pipeline, serving 56,000 residents, is underway. The work is expected to be completed by the end of September to prepare the water supply system for winter conditions. The old pipeline, installed in 1959, has suffered significant damage due to corrosion and hydraulic shocks.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, three young swans were rescued from a fishing net. Inspectors from the fish patrol received a report from residents and arrived at the scene, carefully freeing the birds and releasing them back into the wild.
