Lithuania plans to abolish Russian language education in schools by 2030

Lithuania is proposing to gradually eliminate Russian language education in schools and kindergartens. Lawmaker Laurynas Kasčiūnas initiated changes to the education law that would transition the educational process to Lithuanian starting in 2028.
