Fines for being late to work in Ukraine deemed illegal

Lawyers confirmed that employers cannot fine employees for being late by deducting money from their salaries. Ukrainian legislation does not allow monetary fines as a disciplinary measure, and salary reductions are only permissible under legal grounds.
