Increase in salaries and scholarships in Ukraine from September 2026
From September 1, 2026, salaries for teachers in Ukraine are set to rise by 20% and academic scholarships will be doubled. The minimum scholarship for students in higher education institutions will be 4,000 hryvnias. Discussions on educational reforms and new legislative proposals are ongoing, while the minimum wage will remain at 8,647 hryvnias.
