Loan expense limitation bill

The Ukrainian government approved a bill limiting interest deduction on loans in line with EU standards. Starting in 2028, companies will only be able to deduct loan expenses up to 30% of EBITDA, reducing opportunities for artificial profit reduction. The Verkhovna Rada’s finance committee recommended the bill, which has been adopted in its first reading.
