Latvia imposes tariffs on grain from Russia and Belarus
Latvia announced a 300% tariff on the transit and processing of grain from Russia and Belarus, while also developing mechanisms to detect grain stolen from occupied territories of Ukraine. Subsequently, the Latvian Saeima began considering a bill to increase the transit tariff on Russian grain, which received urgent support in parliament.
