In August 2026, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the near-complete liberation of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast from Russian forces, with approximately 10 square kilometres remaining under their control. The deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Landing Brigade confirmed a strategy of continuous advancement, indicating active combat on other sections of the front.
