A court sentenced a Russian National Guard soldier to 12 years in prison for cruel treatment of civilians in Kherson. The soldier, who was in the occupied city since March 2022, participated in interrogations where civilians were tortured. The verdict was issued in absentia, and the punishment will be served after his arrest.
