Decrease in fatal road accidents in Ukraine in 2026
In 2026, Ukraine has seen a decrease in fatal road traffic accidents. In the first seven months of the year, nearly 1,500 people died, which is a 12% reduction compared to the same period last year. However, in August, a road accident in Lviv Oblast resulted in 27 fatalities.
